A fantastic result in Mansfield 🎉

Planning permission has been secured for the transformation of the former BHS building, bringing the ground floor back into active use as a vibrant food hall.

Located within the West Gate Conservation Area and adjoining a Grade II listed building, the scheme was carefully developed in collaboration with officers, resulting in an enhanced shopfront design and the removal of the outdated canopy. A positive change for the streetscape.

The application received no objections and was unanimously approved by Planning Committee, reflecting strong support for regenerating this prominent town centre site.

Great to see this long-vacant building moving towards a new lease of life, with wider works already underway on the upper floors, following consents we achieved last month.
