Commercial Manager / Business Development Manager – Specialist Role in the Planning Sector

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity to partner with our team in a pivotal role: Commercial Manager / Business Development Manager, supporting our Planning Team as a strategic partner.

This is not your typical business development role. The Town and Country Planning sector is a specialist field that requires both commercial acumen and a genuine understanding of the planning process. We’re looking for someone who brings deep sector knowledge, ideally with experience working alongside planning consultants, local authorities, or within a planning-focused organisation.

As our team continues to grow, this role will be critical in helping us expand our reach, strengthen client relationships, and identify new business opportunities in a highly nuanced and technical market.

What We’re Looking For:

Commercial mindset with a strong track record in developing and winning work

Specialist knowledge of the Town and Country Planning sector

A collaborative approach. We want someone who will work closely with our planners as a true partner

Confidence in representing the business externally, whether with clients, collaborators or at industry events
