Yesterday, we had the privilege of supporting Fylde Borough Council and Kirkham Town Council in commemorating Victory in Europe (VE) Day—a day that marks the end of World War II in Europe and honours the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom.
As part of the commemorations, our team proudly helped light two beacons—one at the stunning Fairhaven Lake and the other in the heart of Kirkham town centre. These beacon lightings served as powerful symbols of remembrance and unity, joining similar events across the UK in tribute to the resilience of the wartime generation.
We were honoured to contribute to such meaningful ceremonies, which not only reflected on the past but brought our communities together in a shared moment of gratitude and respect.
A huge thank you to both councils for allowing us to be part of this significant day.
