The Parliamentary Review

the parliamentary review

We are very proud that our Executive Chairman Chris Plenderleith was, in 2017, selected as the only town and country planner to be featured in that year’s Parliamentary Review, advising on best practice in Town and Country planning.  In both 2018 and 2019, Chris was again invited by Sir Eric Pickles, to contribute to The Parliamentary Review publication and has subsequently been invited to become a member of The Parliamentary Review.

In addressing the government’s need to reduce the effects of uncertainty, Chris believes it must solve five distinct issues, which he discussed in The Parliamentary Review.  Chris said:

“Economic growth can only be delivered by generating confidence – be that confidence in government or management. We must also, however, challenge bureaucracy and promote initiative and imagination, supported by inclusive policies which promote equality.”

Chris’ articles and the wider publications can be found below.
