We’ve recently reached an important milestone on a challenging project involving a Grade II Listed Building in Harrow.
Refurbishment and strip-out works had commenced prior to any permissions being in place. Since then, we have worked closely and carefully with the Council to regularise the position, successfully securing retrospective Listed Building Consent for the works undertaken, along with consent to restore the building appropriately.
We have also now formally discharged all pre-commencement conditions, which were meticulous in detail and required a thorough, coordinated approach.
This has very much been a team effort. We are extremely grateful for the expertise, diligence and collaboration shown throughout; including multiple site visits and the careful preparation of plans and supporting documentation.
Thank you to:

James Mackintosh Architects

And thank you to the Council’s Conservation Officer for their prompt and constructive liaison throughout the process.
A great example of how collaborative working and clear communication can deliver positive outcomes — even in complex heritage situations.
